Adirondack Fishing
Whether fly or spin fishing, there are many rivers and creeks to fish in the Adirondack and Tug Hill Regions. Some offer roadside parking and others areas require some hiking for access. We will consider your needs and abilities when selecting a spot for you. Full day trips put you on the water at first-light. Half day trips can either start at first-light, or you can “catch the hatch,” where you go out in the late afternoon and fish until dark.
As a general rule, this is not "trophy" fishing as most fish are stocked but it is a fun way to spend a morning or afternoon and to introduce kids to fishing. We provide all necessary equipment (fly or spin fishing) for the trip, but you are also welcome to bring your own equipment if you've got a favorite rod or two. Our full day trips include snacks and lunch. Most trips are on the Black River and you can choose from float fishing (canoe) or wade fishing. *June into early July is by far the best time for trout fishing on these trips but bass are easily found all summer. |
