You will paddle the calm, warm waters of the Golfo Dulce (Sweet Gulf) in a single or double enclosed kayak while surrounded by the tropical backdrop of Rain-forests and jungle mountains. Paddle up the Mangrove Rivers, and watch Dolphins, Turtles and many colorful fish right under your kayak. After the kayaking experience you will explore the Pacific coast for two days before heading back to San Juan. You’ll experience the best of super-natural Costa Rica on this tropical adventure and taste the natural flavors of the Costa Rican cuisine, all while staying at beautiful and comfortable lodges.
Hiking and Paddling Adventure at Great Camp Sagamore
Hike and paddle to great Adirondack views and return to an authentic Adirondack Great Camp in the evenings to relax. Great Camp Sagamore is an authentic 1890s, 27-building National Historic Landmark--the dream retreat of the Alfred Vanderbilt family and the working families in support. It is the Adirondack exemplar of the American creation of the wilderness fantasy and is the only great camp open to the public.
Cedar Key Islands Kayaking Adventure
This is our longest running and most popular trip! Join us for five days of paddling and relaxing in the historic village of Cedar Key on Florida’s nature coast. Come enjoy the great kayaking, history, and seafood the area has to offer! Cedar Key is nestled in the big bend region of the Gulf of Mexico, and invites visitors to come and see what’s left of Florida’s natural heritage. Excellent opportunities exist to get an up close and personal view of all the wildlife that abounds in the rivers, salt marshes, tidal creeks, natural springs and coastal islands. While there you may see ibis, herons, pelicans, osprey, eagles, dolphins, manatees and many other rare and elusive species.
"Thank you for the great week - it was very relaxing to have everything taken care of. Sometimes vacations can be stress producing themselves; decisions about directions, lodging, meals, activities, etc. But last week was great and the wonderful weather was such a bonus. We couldn't be happier with our decision to take that trip with you."
